Our Blue Iguana

Two great things happend on the days leading to my birthday, I found my best friend in Grade School, Angel.

We were best friends from the time we met in Grade 7 until all the way to High School graduation. I guess that time after graduation, I have not confirmed which college to choose and also I have an ice skating competition coming up in Cebu, my mind was pretty occupied and never thought of getting her contact. Email wasn’t that common that time and there was no cellphone yet! Wow..I can’t still believe the time we did not have cellphone, it sounds so ancient!

On 2002, I was working part time in Sykes and our group need to hire a new Mandarin-English agent and when my supervisor told me about our new agent.. I was just shock.. The way she describe it sounds like Angel but I could be wrong, yet all the details fit.. So I was having my fingers crossed that it was indeed her. It was and could you imagine us screeming our heads off and my supervisor was like “oh man!” hahhaa…

Destiny really is funny at times. We have to say good bye after working for almost a year together because our account was closing. She decided that time to move back to Taiwan but since I had Carl that time, I stayed. Absent minded, I did not get her email!

Now, 2010, we met again!!!! We are really destined to be together~ hahaa.. I try looking for her around early last year in facebook but couldn’t find her. This year, one of our old alumni added me and message me. I thought he was Robbie from my college, but later realized he was from my old alumni.  During one of our conversations, I don’t know what made me ask,but I did. I mentioned to him that I was looking for Angel. He told me that Angel is in one of his contact… And the rest is history~

From Angel’s side, she told me that Don just added her lately and it’s one of the greatest gift I ever got. Thank you Don if your reading this!

Stay or Go

Last week was a pretty low time for me because of some concerns, my manager and I got to a pretty big argument and his comment really hurt me. But ironically, that was the day Angel contact me. It’s like God’s answer to my prayer? Is she there to guide me and remind me not to think too much.

But there were some other reasons why I wanted to leave which are more personal. I don’t know if at times I can anymore separate my mind and heart in dealing with it. I know what is right thing to do for the sake of work, but, at times it just hurt too much.. wish life comes with a book we can peek at times what we are suppose to do to have an happy ending =p hehe

I got a great suprise on my birthday even if my friend did not realized it was my birthday! He sure got great timing~

I love Macross and as a kid,I have watch it and listened to Lyn Minmay from this series. Her voice sounds so sweet and really soothing for me maybe because of so many old fund memories.. When you have nothing to worry except making sure you pass school? No responsibilities..

I will surely treasure this an another suprise that was send with it. Simpson key chain hahah I love Bart Simpson because he is so naughty and daring. I can never be like that =p
