Last week I have finish my pink coin purse. The theme was especially choosen for my officemate who have always been so nice and helpful to me.

My friend loves pink and goes to dinner parties… so I thought this is very fitting…

It gets abit easier as I made more.. my second one… and different pattern as well… =D

ok.. this one might not look that glamorous =p I had to put plastic bags to stretch the interior… but see the inside sewing? it’s very neat and I try to make it so close to the rim so that you cant see it much..

This is 100% hand sew and if you like, feel free to email me your request at ming@ourblueiguana.com  this is just for fun so I don’t change that much…

Gosh, I have gone by weeks without realizing that I did not update this blog here. Well, since Hope & Ellie was not my design, I usually update it in my other blog  Small Dynasty =p

But I still want to show off my Hope & working progress Ellie.

I wanted hope to be abit girly, so I add the ribbon on her head. This ribbon was so thin, I love it! Shee… This ribbon came with my orders from Jenny and find it a waste to throw it away! hehehe Doesn’t it look great? =D

I also gave her a scraf because its cold here for Spring (well, I find it cold!)  =D

This is Ellie Pan… I’ll make a story of him later on when his truly finished! He was so excite to have his photos taken even if his not fully finished… Such an impatient little elephant hehehe… this design is by Karen Alderson…

I have made Ellie a bag, you saw it? It’s the blue dots bag…. and have stamp a giraffe on it. It’s like a mailman’s bag …

coinpIsn’t this photo lovely? I just love the way my friend photo this….

This project started a day before the Chinese New Year break… I spend the whole night sewing one side and continue the next day.. I thought it was running stick, but instead backstitch… I rather resew it so that it would be prettier…

I’m very crazy about dots also… I love this combination… I stuff alot of styro like paper inside to fully stretch it… 1 week of delivery should give it extra stretch heheh….

the photo look better than the actual! =p heheh joke…. Im making another one for sister as her birthday gift… I think I will have a try at the t-shirt transfer tonight.. Oh happy day! =D

Hope

This is what I name my version of  Twinkee Pattern by JLB ( This pattern can be purchase by going to my small dynasty store) … I could sure use alot of Hope right now.. amazing how much you can accomplish when your mind is blank and your moving in autopilot mode…

Last night, I finish the Head and took lots of time trimming, plucking it… I have finish sewing all and have stuff 2 arms,one head,  I’m missing one leg and one body =P

Secret Proj ( Finish!)

Gosh, I forgot when I finish the secret proj.. If Icount back, its Feb 22(sun)… yap! I remember the next day I have it posted on mail…

This is my first actual try so it’s not that perfectly form yet.. This compose of 6 pieces outside and 6 pieces inside so if your a beginner, lots of connection to do! I’m working on the kit version and pdf version of the coin purse. I hope my second would be much better.

I saw all this by hand and Im kind of proud how it came out! =$ (blush)

P.S… The other one on the background? It’s for my sister!

I showed her the fabric and she love it… I love Paris.. sigh

Irony of Life

For everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; a time to kill and a time to heal.. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-3

I wonder when those time come when your life just seems to be going in circles.  Things change but the most important thing in my life, I seem to be trap in this time portal like the movie “ground hog day”…

when would be my time to uproot? to heal… I wish I can find those answers…. maybe one day when I look back in this blog, i’ll laugh… maybe I won’t because nothing change.. i sure kill all my time and what do I have left? hmmm an empty apartment, a career… future does look very bright doesn’t it…  At times feel like this is all just a bad dream, a dream even I don’t know when I’ll end….

Too bad.. I finish my Godiva chocolate.. at a time like this, nice to indulge in it.. this place have never felt more lonely…. I guess she have won… she got what she wanted… Hope she is happy with what she have, but I doubt it…. well, back to happy thoughts I guess…
