Our Blue Iguana

I was very curious when I saw a listing on our apartment for Twilight movie showing and just knew I have to watch it. Everyone talk about it so much and I wanted to know if it was just over rated.. It was not!

The movie was something of a modern time love story of vampire and human and I find myself  so pulled in by the story. After watching it, I knew I just need to read the book! I walk 30mins to the nearest bookstore near my area for English story book and there was no book 1! =( I got book 2 instead but to stop myself from reading the book 2, I re-read Sophie Kindell “Can you keep a secret?” book instead.

Why not continue where the movie left off? Well, I know there are still scenes or changes in the plot when it comes to movies. After all, squeezing a book into 2.5 hr movie is not easy.

I travel all the way to Taipei City hall to eslite to get the book but only hardbound was available and the last! Gosh, I have no choice, I got it even if it cost a fortune! But guess what, I found out this morning on Eslite website that there is paperback stock! And the sales lady told me still need to order from US! The hardbound cost me NTD800 and the paperback only cost NTD300+ Felt I’ve been scam =(

Compare the movie and the book, some things are different like scenes but the most important part are still there which is very important. The writer and direction of Twilight movie did a prety good job… I was afraid I was not going to like it because Im so used to Buffy and Angel and was afraid that it would make me not like vampires.. But I love them!

Robert who plays Edward actually looks better in the movie.. Sorry Robert.. I saw his photos and they were just so so to me.. but when I watch the movie, his power and how he projected himself, I was rolled over! No wonder girls love him so much! His the man! I would love to see more of Edward but not Robert =p hehehe…

Im almost finish reading the book 1 after cramming all night until 2am before hitting the sack.. just cant put it down! I hope I get started on book 2 tonight and need to grab book 3& 4… I feel im going to finish the book during my trip.. cant wait….

I think im in love with Edward and Belle! hehhee

Question is… who is that girl on the end of the movie? If she was Victoria, how come her mole is missing? On the baseball field, her mole was visible, but there on the last part, it’s gone! I thought that was Edward’s sister…. Am I wrong?

Just few hours ago, I had a chance to work out on a simple banner.. but im not sure if it looks ok…. hmmmm

I have yet to put a picture of my bears here…. I need to remove of course the background use when I took the bears photos..

The shadow I did was just a lucky guess hehehe I never took classes so I just play around or ask my friend how to do this… Glad it turn out the way I like it….

When I read in JLB blog about Ginger celebration giveaway, I have to see it! I realized she was the artist whom I read last year on one of those Teddy Bear magazines about Bears inside those boxes…

I love mini bears and especially inspired by Ingrid… but Ginger’s bear well, they are abit bigger and her style is different from other artist. I love the details and work she did on those box bears… they are great. Here are some of the photos just to get an idea of what im talking about.

Work have really keep me from making lots of update on my blog… but it did not stop me from making lots of stuff….

I will be in one week trip to Philippines and hope when I get back, I feel more recharged and can show off my new photos. Cant wait to take more photos using my Nikon D60 and get my old SLR camera. I do love my SLR camera because I know how to use it, DLSR is somewhat new to me =(

I just had my Sony T10 fix again! So no photos… sorry guys….

Im currently working on making 8 coin purses to give to people as thank you gifts… so far? hmmmm =p I have completed 2,  and 3 needs to sew the handle and another 3 have not been touch… can I make it on time? Gosh I hope so! hahaha…. Fingers and toes and even eyes crossed….

I want to update something on sunday but I did not know what happened, but i could not access my blog… so i decide to check my control panel and realized that i should not have rename the files! No wonder i cant access it! Good thing it’s back to normal…. I will post update soon…. what a hectic week as usual… =p
