Happy Chinese New Year

Lately been so busy with preparation for the Chinese New Year which start midnight of Feb 13~Feb 21. It would be a long break and I’m still awaiting for my kit to arrived from ViVianne of Galli Bear Collection. I have never try the “antique” look and im itching to try it… Here is the bear I’m suppose to make and his name is Chopper.

I have finished a panda bear but still haven’t finish it’s accessories.. She wanted a bag and I’m not quite finish with her bag. She is quite anxious actually to show her face… so I will give more peek to how she look like..

For those who know me, I love purple and this was a wonderful fabric to really work with.. I’m just sad I’m left with not much of this mohair… and doubt I can get this mohair again! =(

I have been practicing on my sewing machine and compare to previous, my sewing did improve. Not fully perfect, but at least better corners~ =D This is what we called persimmon. It’s a fruit that usually found during Chinese New Year season. It’s kind of cute. On the photo, you will see it like a pouch. But do you know, when you turn this thing inside out, it can hold candies? or small items that your heart desire.

I have made it pink to have a variety of colors and it looks kind of pretty =D I have send these two to my friend and need to work on the rest and have it posted out by tom! Yikes, I’m running late!!!! But I do enjoy making it.
