Maokong

This was the day when the MRT Neihu and Muzha line was down. It’s great that the government took the responsibility and offer free shuttle bus which stops in all MRT stations.
I’m just sad to hear some people did not follow the line up discipline and cut throught the line. I guess at times, we can’t expect everyone to have discipline but it would be greatly appreciated =p Everyone wait in line patiently and we hate it when people cut us like that.
How to get to Maokong:
- Get to Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (blue line) than get a transfer to Muzha line going toward the direction of Taipei Zoo.
- Get down at Wanfang Community / Taipei Zoo.
- If you get down at Wanfang Community, take a S10 mini bus to Maokong. The bus station is near the exit of the Wanfang community. See image below
4. If your taking bus from Taipei Zoo, You need to go across the street and take a bus that says “maokong”
Each ride cost only NTD 15.00 and you can get off at any tea place you feel have a good view.
How the Tea house system works:
- You choose a tea that you like, usually they are pack in 300 g and you get to have unlimited time in the tea house. Each tea range from 280~ 500 for the good ones. You will be charge per head also for overhead cost aside from the tea.
- Some tea house charge extra if you bring food from outside.
- They will also charge you at a different rate if you order food but bring your own tea.
- At times, I feel to save all the trouble, just order directly from there.
Photos coming soon =)
